Perhaps no other city in the world conjures up as many positive feelings and romantic images as Paris. With its iconic cityscape and inimitable design, the City of Light inspires tremendous pride in its residents and admiration from afar. Still, in recent years, the city has struggled with the direct and indirect effects of global issues such as climate change, immigration, and financial instability. In response, the Mayor’s Office set an agenda to help ensure that the city’s reality always matches its image.
